MS-RSM Tuition and Housing

Financial Support and Tuition

The MS-RSM program is unable to support students in the form of scholarships, fellowships, or teaching assistantships. All enrolled students are responsible for funding their tuition, health insurance, student activity fees, and related expenses. Research mentors are responsible for funding student research supplies, reagents, and necessary training.

Students are expected to pay for tuition, fees, health insurance, books, and other academic supplies. Tuition and fee information can be found here: http://www.northwestern.edu/sfs/tuition/graduate/the-graduate-school.html. General information about funding graduate work can be found here http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/funding/index.html.

Housing

Limited graduate student housing exists on the Evanston campus and information can be found through TGS: http://www.tgs.northwestern.edu/campus-life/housing-transportation/. Accepted and enrolled students should anticipate renting an apartment in the Chicago area. Program leadership is available to provide advice and information about Chicago neighborhoods, housing, and living in Chicago.
