In 2011, Oncofertility Consortium® member, Laxmi Kondapalli, MD, MSCE, started Colorado's first fertility preservation program for cancer patients at CU School of Medicine. Recently, Dr. Kondapalli was featured in CU's philanthropy magazine, Creating Futures, at a fundraising event she hosted entitled, Cocktails for a Cure at CU Cancer Center. The CU Foundation’s biannual magazine tells the stories of the $1.5 billion Creating Futures fundraising campaign, and celebrates philanthropy at the University of Colorado.
