Chanel joined the Woodruff Lab in 2015 under the Histology Core. She earned her BS in Forensic Science from Tiffin University in 2012 and aspires to be a forensic pathologist. She is currently part of a 2 person-team that assists the Woodruff lab and other partners in all histological and pathological matters. The histology core generates over 6000 slides per month. Chanel handles all histological request in the lab concerning projects geared toward the development of the ex-vivo female reproductive tract integration in a 3D microphysiologic system.
