The second day of the 2015 Oncofertility Consortium Conference focused on clinical topics in the area of pediatric oncofertility. Barbara Lockart, DNP, APN/CNP, CPON, in the Department of Hematology/Oncology & Fertility Preservation at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, gave the first talk of the day: Critical Conversations: Assessing and Consenting Pediatric Patients for Fertility Preservation.  Her talk focused on the assent and consent process prior to fertility preservation and reviewed communication techniques to facilitate family's understanding of consenting to research. The next presentation in the 2015 Conference Presentation Series is the Clinical Fertility Preservation Panel, which was moderated by Dr. Bill Gradishar. This panel included brief presentations on a variety of clinical topics, as well as a robust question and answer session at the end of the presentations. Panel member includes Yasmin Gosiengfiao, MD, Lurie Children's; Leslie Appiah, MD, University of Kentucky; Olivia Jaworek Frias, RN, Cincinnati Children's; and Anna Franklin, MD, MD Anderson. All panel members are part of the Pediatric Initiative Network within the National Physicians Cooperative.

THIRD ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE FERTILITY PRESERVATION SOCIETY (INDIA), BENGALURU – INDIA

The event ‘FERTIPROTECT 2016’, the Third Annual Conference organized of the Fertility Preservation Society (India) will be held on the 27^th & 28^th of August, 2016.

Dr. Antoinette Anazodo flew all the way from Australia to present at the 2015 Oncofertility Consortium Conference. Antoinette Anazodo, MD,is the Director, Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer, Kids Cancer Center and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Antoinette is developing the AYA cancer service to ensure all AYA patients have access to appropriate age and tumor specific medical treatment as well as ensuring they benefit from psychosocial assessment and care navigation through treatment.
